This is my first port so i can only test it
on my mac, ive tested it on my 24" iMac 2.8ghz with 4gb ram, ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro

I put all the
settings on Highest, and it runs smooth as silk. ive got a feeling most people wont have trouble with it. 
it has
never crashed on me either.

Installing
Sins of a Solar Empire: 
Mount the DMG and Drag to your Games folder, or where ever you like.
thats it. it all
self contained, which includes the wine engine also.
The STAR WARS REQUIEM MOD is enabled by default. you'll that
out when you launch
this can be disable in the options>Mods> section, then deactivate the star wars mod, that
simple.


/////// FOR ADVANCED CXZ PORTERS \\\\\\\

this port includes all the expansions
packs, which Version numbers are
Sins 1.19, Entrenchment 1.05, and Diplomacy 1.00
but the menu buttons linking
to the expansions from  do not work.
SO you have to alter the INFO.PLIST file to point to the other executables

to get them to work you have to do the following:

First Copy the game app out of the dmg., because it
is read only. then right click on the app and click 'show package contents'

navigate to /Contents/Info.plist the one highlighted in purple

and open that file with the app 'Property List Editor' provided, which is also highlighted in
purple.


as you can see Plist is set by default to run the Diplomacy Expansion here

you need to change it to the expansion you wish to play form this list, the ones highlighted in red


ALSO if you liked Homeworld 1 or 2 you will love this hands down.
